Driveclub PC Port: Driveclub Native (DCport) and other projects

Unofficially, yes, but early: three fan projects from October 2026 run the PS4 game natively on Windows. Offline only; all need your own dump.

What you need

A dump of your own PS4 copy of Driveclub with the 1.28 update (1.05 for the Mac build), and a 64-bit Windows 10/11 PC with an AVX CPU and a Vulkan 1.3 graphics card. Online features do not work.

Short answer (checked 17 October 2026)

Yes, Driveclub now runs on PC, unofficially and very early. Three fan projects appeared between 13 and 16 October 2026. They run the PS4 game’s own code natively on Windows, races and saves work in at least one of them, and online does not work. All three need a dump of your own PS4 copy (update 1.28). There is no official PC release, and no project ships the game.

Driveclub, Evolution Studios’ 2014 PS4 racer, was never released on PC. In October 2026 it became the latest PS4 exclusive to get fan-made native ports, after God of War III and Bloodborne. This page sums up which projects exist, how far they are, and what you need. We describe them only: this page has no download or play link.

The three projects at a glance

Project How it runs Platforms Game version State on 17 Oct
Driveclub Native / DCport Native code + game-specific runtime, shadPS4’s Vulkan renderer (Windows); own Metal renderer (Intel Mac) Windows, macOS (Intel) 1.28 (Windows), 1.05 (Mac) Active; Windows backend merged 17 Oct
driveclub-recomp Native code + reimplemented PS4 libraries, Vulkan Windows 1.28 Playable races per README; crash reports open
Driveclub-pc-wrapper Fork of the shadPS4 emulator tuned for Driveclub Windows 1.28 Hobby project, new builds daily

All three are GPL-2.0-or-later and were created between 13 and 16 October 2026, so expect fast changes.

What works, and what doesn’t

Reported working (from the projects’ own READMEs, not tested by us):

  • Menus, races, photo mode and saves (driveclub-recomp).
  • Frame rates above 30: DCport lists targets up to 240 FPS (tested to 120); the wrapper offers 30/60/120.
  • Render resolutions from 1080p to 4K and FSR upscaling with frame generation (DCport).

Not working or not confirmed:

  • Online play: not working in any project.
  • Some reflections too bright, shader-building stutter on first play, and a CPU limit in heavy scenes (driveclub-recomp’s known issues).
  • Whether the Intel Mac build is playable: not confirmed.
  • No independent coverage yet confirms that any of the three runs well; everything above comes from the READMEs.

What you need

  • Your own PS4 copy of Driveclub, dumped from your own console, with the 1.28 update for the Windows builds. The READMEs disagree on the title ID (DCport names CUSA00003, the other two CUSA00093), so check the project you follow.
  • Windows 10/11 64-bit, a CPU with AVX and a Vulkan 1.3 graphics card.
  • About 40 GB of free space, per the driveclub-recomp README.

We do not explain how to dump or obtain game files.

How the ports work

The PS4 uses the same x86-64 processor family as a PC, so the game’s own code can run directly on your CPU. What has to be replaced is the console around it: Sony’s system libraries, and the PS4 graphics chip, whose commands are translated to Vulkan. DCport’s Windows runtime is based on Supermedo’s bloodborne_pc, the same family as the God of War III and Uncharted ports. That is why “recomp” is a misnomer here: nothing is recompiled, unlike the Xbox 360 projects, whose PowerPC code has to be translated.

Before these ports, Driveclub ran on PC only through the shadPS4 emulator with community resolution patches (Notebookcheck). See our shadPS4 guide.

Who made them

Driveclub Native is by BlackLineInteractive (Mac) and qnfn (Windows, DCport), crediting shadPS4, deadinside28 and Supermedo for the runtime. driveclub-recomp is by OverkillLabs3, a GitHub account created in October 2026. Driveclub-pc-wrapper is by ondrejeder, building on junminlee2004’s GR2fork.

  • These are unofficial fan projects, not affiliated with Sony Interactive Entertainment or Evolution Studios. None includes game data.
  • Only use a dump of a copy you own.
  • The builds are unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may warn. Use only the repositories linked above; beware of look-alike download sites that appear around every new port.

Not working?

Check that your dump is the version the project expects (1.28 for Windows), update your graphics driver, and attach the project’s log file when you report a bug on its issue tracker. Looking for another racer? See GT Sport on PC, Forza Horizon and the full recompiled games list.

FAQ

Can you play Driveclub on PC?

Unofficially, yes, but it is early. Since mid-October 2026 three fan projects run the PS4 version on Windows (one also targets Intel Macs). They are a few days old, offline only, and all need a dump of your own PS4 copy.

Is there an official Driveclub PC version?

No. Driveclub was released only on PS4 in 2014, and Sony has never released it on PC or Steam. Everything on PC is an unofficial fan project.

Is the Driveclub PC port an emulator?

Two of the three projects are not emulators. The game's own x86-64 code runs directly on the PC processor, a runtime replaces the PS4 system libraries, and the graphics are translated to Vulkan. The third, Driveclub-pc-wrapper, is a tuned fork of the shadPS4 emulator.

What is "Driveclub Recomp"?

It is the name of one Windows project (OverkillLabs3/driveclub-recomp). Despite the name, its README describes native execution with reimplemented system libraries, not a static recompilation like the Xbox 360 projects.

Does Driveclub online work on PC?

No. The OverkillLabs3 README lists online features as not working, and the DCport README stubs out the PS4 network libraries. Treat every project as offline only.

Do I need my own copy of Driveclub?

Yes. No project includes game files. The Windows builds expect a dump of your own PS4 copy with the 1.28 update; the Mac build was made for version 1.05. We do not explain how to get game files.

Unofficial. This page is written by an independent directory. It is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Sony Interactive Entertainment or BlackLineInteractive (macOS backend) and qnfn (Windows backend, DCport) (Driveclub PC Port: Driveclub Native (DCport) and other projects's author). We do not host any files, and we never link to game files, ROMs or ISOs.
