Short answer (checked 21 October 2026)

Yes, FIFA Street (2012) runs natively on Windows, unofficially, through ReStreet by SamuelitoDaVila, a static recompilation of the Xbox 360 game made with ReXGlue. The latest version is 2.0.5 Online Beta (20 October 2026). It brings back online play on free community servers, with a launcher for friends, chat and rooms, and runs on Direct3D 12 or Vulkan. You need an ISO of your own Xbox 360 copy.

FIFA Street, also known as FIFA Street 4, came out in March 2012 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, made by EA Canada for EA Sports on the FIFA 12 engine, and never came to PC. ReStreet’s repository was created on 7 October 2026 and its first build, v0.4.0 Experimental, came out the same day. Online play returned as an open beta with v1.4 on 16 October, and version 2.0, with a new graphics engine, followed on 19 October. Builds have come out almost daily since. We couldn’t find press coverage yet.

What it is

  • A static recompilation: ReXGlue translates the game’s Xbox 360 executable into C++, which is compiled into a Windows program. The site also credits Xenia and XenonRecomp.
  • Graphics: since 2.0 the renderer is based on AnDr3zF’s “Deck” port, with Direct3D 12 and Vulkan backends. It still uses a Xenia-derived layer for the console’s GPU, so the CPU code is native but the graphics are translated.
  • What the download contains: a one-file installer (about 450 MB for 2.0.5) that holds the launcher and the game’s code already recompiled for Windows. The game’s data is read from your own ISO during installation. The README says the MIT licence does not establish the right to redistribute those generated game binaries and that no legal clearance is claimed.
  • Online services: the launcher connects the game to community servers that stand in for the original online features (sign-in, News Feed, leaderboards, friends and invites).
  • AI help: the README says it was developed with help from ChatGPT, OpenAI Codex and Anthropic’s Claude Code, directed and tested by SamuelitoDaVila.

What the README and site list:

  • World Tour, offline matches and online modes: Division Matches in 10-game seasons, a new Cup every week, Friend Matches, Online Team Play and World Tour online;
  • two community servers, Europe and South America;
  • a launcher with online players, friends, chat and game rooms that bring two players to the same lobby, plus an in-game friends Guide on F6 or the Xbox button;
  • graphics options: FSR 1, internal resolution up to 4×, ambient occlusion, MSAA, FXAA and an FPS limit, with about 400 FPS in a match on the developer’s PC;
  • automatic updates from the launcher that keep your name, server, settings and World Tour saves;
  • launcher in six languages and an in-game Brazilian Portuguese translation.

Known problems: the game renders internally at 1280×720 and is scaled up; Vulkan can stutter, and the 2.0.5 notes say Vulkan can crash in the AMD driver, so AMD users should pick Direct3D 12; there is no mouse control for skill moves yet; two copies of the game on one PC can lose the connection after an invite. The status page says 2.0 was tested by the developer on one AMD PC, not yet on NVIDIA or Intel graphics or between two separate PCs. On 21 October twelve issues were open, among them World Tour crashes, failed joins with a friend, a server-offline report, high CPU use and SteamOS problems. We didn’t play it ourselves.

What you need

  • An ISO of your own Xbox 360 copy of FIFA Street (2012). The installer checks it against its verified hashes and refuses other builds. We couldn’t confirm which regions those are. The PS3 version is not supported. We don’t explain how to obtain or copy game data.
  • Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) with a Direct3D 12 or Vulkan graphics card, about GTX 900 / RX 400 or newer.
  • 8 GB of RAM and about 12 GB of free disk space.

How to install

At a high level, from the official README: download the ReStreet Setup.exe (for example ReStreet-2.0.5-Setup.exe) from the latest release (a .sha256 file is provided to check it), run it, choose your ISO, an install folder, an online name and a server, then open the launcher and press PLAY. Existing installs from 1.5.1 or newer update from the launcher’s Update button. Building from source is covered in the repository’s build guide.

Other FIFA Street projects

  • fifastreet2-recomp by jv36 is an early attempt to recompile the original Xbox FIFA Street 2. It opens no window yet and is a different game.
  • ReStreet is an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by EA, Microsoft or Xbox. FIFA Street and its content belong to their owners.
  • The game’s data comes from your own ISO, but the installer itself contains recompiled game code, and the project says no legal clearance is claimed for that.
  • Online play runs on community servers, not EA’s. Get builds only from the official GitHub repository. Legality depends on where you live.

Not working?

  • “SIGN IN FAILED” or OSDK_SIGNIN_REQUIRED: update to 2.0.5, which fixes sign-in when the server is slow.
  • Crash entering a match or on ultrawide screens: also fixed in 2.0.5.
  • Crash or stutter with Vulkan, especially on AMD: switch to Direct3D 12 in the launcher.
  • World Tour not saving: 2.0.5 handles a blocked or OneDrive Documents folder; saves fall back to the game folder.
  • Low frame rate: choose the Performance profile in the launcher.

Otherwise report problems on the issue tracker with the logs from the launcher’s Open logs button, without ISOs or game files. Another Xbox 360 port with online play: Tekken 6 on PC.

FAQ

Is there a FIFA Street PC port?

Not an official one. ReStreet by SamuelitoDaVila is an unofficial Windows port of the Xbox 360 FIFA Street (2012), made by static recompilation with the ReXGlue SDK. The latest version is 2.0.5 Online Beta, from 20 October 2026. You need an ISO of your own Xbox 360 copy.

Can you play FIFA Street online on PC?

Yes, in a free open beta. ReStreet connects the game to community servers in Europe and South America, with Division Matches, weekly Cups, Friend Matches, Online Team Play, friends and leaderboards. Players and leaderboards are separate per server. These are not EA's servers.

Is ReStreet an emulator?

Not for the processor. ReXGlue translates the game's Xbox 360 PowerPC code into C++ that is compiled for Windows. Graphics still go through a layer taken from the Xenia emulator, which turns Xbox 360 GPU commands into Direct3D 12 or Vulkan. You don't need Xenia installed.

Does the PS3 version of FIFA Street work?

No. The installer reads an Xbox 360 ISO and accepts only the builds that match its verified hashes. We couldn't confirm which regions those builds are.

Does ReStreet work on Steam Deck or Linux?

Not officially. The project says Wine / Proton has not been tested on 2.0, and open issues report launcher and audio problems on SteamOS.

Is FIFA Street 2012 the same as FIFA Street 4?

Yes. The 2012 reboot is often called FIFA Street 4 or FIFA Street 2012. ReStreet is for that game, not the original Xbox FIFA Street 2.

Unofficial. This page is written by an independent directory. It is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with EA Sports (developed by EA Canada) or SamuelitoDaVila (samuelit0davila) (ReStreet (FIFA Street 2012 PC port)'s author).
