PES 6 Web Online is a fan-made browser version of Pro Evolution Soccer 6 for the PSP (Konami, 2006). The site says the game is recompiled to WebAssembly and runs directly in the browser with nothing to install. It does not ask for your own game files: the game downloads as you play (about 300 MB in total), so this page links straight to it. The site is run by OptiJuegos (OptiProjects on YouTube) and is written in Spanish.

Status on 2026-10-17: the site loads. It was already online on 2026-09-29, the date of its first Wayback Machine capture.

How to play

  1. Open the site in Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
  2. Choose a start option: with the original Spanish commentary, with Argentine commentary by Mariano Closs, or without commentary (lighter and faster to load).
  3. Wait for the first download. Parts of the game you have loaded stay in your browser, so the next visit is faster.
  4. Use the arrow keys or D-pad to choose, Enter or Cross to accept, and Esc or Circle to cancel in menus.

What it can do

  • Online matches: rooms through the game’s Wireless mode, public or private (shared by link). Empty rooms delete themselves after 15 minutes.
  • Option files and saves: import a .zip or a PSP/SAVEDATA folder, and export everything back out.
  • Extra content: the news section mentions a Liga MX 2007 league with 18 Mexican clubs.
  • Graphics options: WebGPU or WebGL2, 1x to 3x internal resolution, an experimental 60 FPS mode and an optional native renderer.
  • Languages: Spanish, English, French, German and Italian.

Requirements

  • A modern browser with WebGL2.
  • A keyboard, a USB or Bluetooth controller, or a touch screen.
  • No account and no game files.

Controls

Every PSP button (D-pad, analog stick, Cross, Circle, Square, Triangle, L, R, Start, Select) can be mapped to the keyboard or a controller in the Controls menu, per player. The site does not list the default keyboard layout on the page, so check the Controls menu before kick-off. On touch screens an on-screen pad appears automatically.

  • It is an unofficial fan project. The site says it is not affiliated with or associated with Konami, and lists a DMCA contact address.
  • It runs inside the browser and installs nothing. The page carries ads.
  • We link only the PES 6 page itself, not the wider OptiJuegos site.

Not working?

  • Slow or stuttering: set internal resolution to 1x in Graphics, keep 30 FPS, close other tabs and use an up-to-date Chrome or Edge.
  • Black screens, flicker or wrong textures: update your graphics drivers, enable hardware acceleration, try another browser, or turn off smoothing and the native renderer.
  • Lag online: pick a room with nearby players, prefer a cable over Wi-Fi, and try the connection options in the Online tab.

FAQ

Is PES 6 Web Online free?
