Claude of Duty: Vibe Slops II was an unofficial Black Ops 2 browser game by Luckey Faraday. It was not a port of the whole game: it rebuilt one multiplayer map, Hijacked (the yacht map), as a Three.js shooter with computer-controlled enemies, written with AI coding tools. It needed no game files from the player. It is taken down: since Activision’s DMCA notice on 2026-10-10, vibeslops.luckeysystems.com only shows a picture of Faraday’s post about the takedown.
Our notes said a Black Ops 2 browser version had been hit by a DMCA. We checked: this is that one.
What it was
- One map: Hijacked from Call of Duty: Black Ops II (2012), rebuilt in the browser with the Three.js 3D library.
- Bots and friends: directory listings describe free-for-all matches against bots and private rooms to play with friends.
- Made with AI: the name plays on “vibe coding” and on Claude. Faraday later also had the map running inside Minecraft as a mod, which Tom’s Hardware covered.
- Free, with nothing to install.
Directory listings say it was first posted on X on 2026-09-08. It became widely known when a list of browser ports went viral on 2026-10-08.
What happened
On 2026-10-10 Faraday posted that “Activision just DMCA’d me” and that every one of his Call of Duty browser games was offline. The screenshot in his post shows X locking his account after a DMCA notice. XDA Developers reported that the Vibe Slops II and Kino der Toten project pages both said their maps, models and animations were exported from the original PC games, which made the takedown unsurprising.
Current status
- Taken down. On 2026-10-17 the original site loaded, but only shows the takedown post and a link to it on X.
- Re-uploads and mirrors by other people exist. They are not from the creator, and we do not list them.
What you can play instead
- Black Ops 1 Zombies (vel.gg): a different unofficial browser port, with Zombies maps from the first Black Ops. Loading on 2026-10-17.
- Modern Warfare 2 browser project: a browser multiplayer shooter that started as a Modern Warfare 2 port and has since been renamed.
- The official Black Ops II is available for PC and consoles.
Is it legal?
It was an unofficial fan project with no link to Activision or Treyarch. Using a map, models and animations taken from the game without permission is why Activision could have it removed.
