Short answer (checked 18 October 2026)
PokéSurvivor is a free, unofficial Pokémon fan game in the style of Survivor.io and Vampire Survivors: you move, and your Pokémon attack on their own. It runs in the browser on PC and phones at pokesurvivor.com, which is its only official site. It is not the same game as Pokémon Survivor Burst.
PokéSurvivor was released on 11 October 2026 by JPTER78, a Spanish-speaking developer. It spread quickly through Pokémon fan sites and gaming news. It is written in plain HTML and JavaScript. You can play as a guest or log in to save progress, and up to four players can team up in co-op, according to the project’s README. The author patches it almost daily.

Was it made with AI?
Yes, by the author’s own account. The itch.io page says the game “was developed with the help of an AI coding assistant (code, original music and some UI icons)” and that “the Pokémon sprites are not AI-generated”. According to the README, the sprites come from the fan-made PMD SpriteCollab collection.
Is it official, and is it safe?
- Unofficial: not made or approved by Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon fan games have been taken down before, so this one could disappear at any time. We check it daily.
- Use only pokesurvivor.com. The author’s README names it the only official site. Look-alike domains and game portals host copies with their own ads.
- The author says the project has no official cryptocurrency, token or NFT. Anything selling one is a scam.
Not working?
- Lag on phones: play in landscape and close other tabs.
- Progress lost: guest progress lives in your browser; make an account to keep it.
- Prefer a download? See Pokémon Survivor Burst. Want the same idea in another world? Try Azeroth Survivors.
