How to play
- Open the Play link above. It goes to dragonballtft.online in a new tab.
- Type a fighter name, pick a tactician, and choose Play as a guest, or log in with Discord.
- Pick a mode from the menu:
- Play vs bots: a full match against 7 bots. According to the game, this also works when its server is offline.
- Find match: ranked, up to 8 players, with bots filling the rest.
- Create a room: invite friends with a link or room code; bots take the empty seats. Rooms can be public or private.
- Training: the game’s how-to-play guide.
Each round has a planning phase and a combat phase. In planning you buy fighters from the shop, drag them from your bench onto the board, and set them up; you can field one fighter per level. Combat plays itself, and the surviving fighters on the winning side damage the losing player. Three copies of a fighter combine into a 2-star unit, and three 2-star units into a 3-star one.
Gold comes in every round, with interest (1 gold per 10 held, up to 5) and streak bonuses. Fighters share traits that switch on bonuses, and items can be dragged onto a fighter (three at most). The game also has its own systems: Dragon Balls, Training Arcs, Fusion (the Potara item fuses Goku and Vegeta) and Z-Assists.
